Here's some info on a man you may want to model your business life after:
Name: Thomas Watson Sr.
Company: IBM
In his youth, Tom Watson was anything but the picture of success he would later come to be. He was asthmatic, shy and had few friends. But, this loner would soon become one of the greatest and richest salesmen in the world. As one of the most successful self-made industrialists of his time, Watson would turn the winds of fate, transforming his humble beginnings into a career whose legacy continues to this day.
Best Advice For Entrepreneurs:
“It’s quite simple, really. Double your rate of failure. You’re thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all.”
Always keep trying!!!

Rule # 1 – Leadership Can Be Learned!
Yes, it’s true – some people appear to be born leaders. It’s also true that they can improve. What about those of us who aren’t born leaders’?
Step 1 – Understand What The Role Entails
What are the three general ethical responsibilities of a leader?
1. Be a role model.
2. Develop your subordinates ethically.
3. Avoid creating ethical dilemmas for your subordinates.
Some basic principles are:
1. Focus on the situation, issue or behavior, not the person
2. Maintain the self-confidence and self-esteem of others.
3. Maintain constructive relationships with your employees, peers and managers.
4. Take initiative to make things better.
5. Lead by example!
Until next time,

The "spokes" on the wheel of life!
Hi everyone,
In life, we have different areas that we operate in. Let's call these areas, spokes. Here are the spokes in the wheel of life:
1. Health / Fitness
2. Wealth / Financial
3. Spiritual
4. Relationships (family/friends)
5. Career / Business
6. Fun / Hobbies
We can have a great marriage and relationships... but be broke.
We can a lot of money and horrible health.
Look at these areas. How are you doing in each one? If you think it's appropriate, write a goal or two for each spoke. Then, create a daily action that pertains toward that goal.
Finally, TAKE ACTION!

How To Start Attracting Success!
Here's one method of attracting success to you. I want you to type out a few of your goals in one, two or three words. For example, make a list in this format:
- health
- physical fitness
- financial independence
- happy home life
- happiness
- energy
- peacefulness
- etc.
Then, build each of those into three sentences. For example:
1. I welcome health into my life.
2. I want a healthy lifestyle.
3. I deserve a healthy body.
So, the formula is: Welcome, Want and Deserve.
After your sentences are written, find a quiet place and see how long it takes you to read them out loud. Mine took about 2 minutes.
Now, go grab your MP3 player. RECORD yourself reading those phrases into your MP3 player.
Here's the HABIT. Every morning listen to that recording as soon as you wake up. Every night before you fall asleep, listen to that recording.
If you don't program yourself, who will?
:-)
Do this and TAKE the abundance that is yours. There are no guarantees in life, I know. But habits like this will make whatever life brings you... a lot better!

Begin Your Fitness Habits TODAY!
If you've had a tough time starting a fitness program or obtaining the results you desire, this short article may help.
I've been a fitness trainer for my martial art students, military troops and clients. (I've earned ACE & APEX Certifications)
One thing the fitness training industry doesn't say enough (because it's not profitable to...) is this: Start slow and steady, one easy change at a time and create fitness habits that are NOT dependant on you having to go to the gym or on a Trainer "pushing" you.
Teach yourself and be your own trainer!
Here's a routine I used for a client of mine who was overweight, hated working out, smoked cigarettes, had diabetes and blamed everything & everyone but herself. For her to change her life, we had to do it SLOWLY and change her daily habits.
My goal was to get her to the point where she didn't need me anymore.
Sample:
Week #1 - Learn a simple head to toe stretch and do it shortly after you wake up and right before you go to bed.
Week #2 - Go for a 20 minute walk 3 days a week. (Mon - Wed - Fri, for example)
Week #3 - Do calesthenics on Tues - Thurs - Sat... only 3 exercises. Push-ups on knees, Chair squats (bodyweight only) and crunches. We did 3 sets of 3 reps for each exercise. Why? We wanted to develop HABITS and not cause pain. Her brain and stubborn personality would have STOPPED trying to develop these habits if pain was initially involved.
Week #4 - Stop drinking soda (water was substituted)
Each week we continued the previous weeks habits but added a new one. If we didn't add a new habit, we increased the repetitions on her exercises ONLY BY 2 reps!
At the end of the year, she had lost 38lbs... could do 25 push-ups... 32 sit-ups... and was walking 20 minutes EVERY day. She quit smoking in the 3rd month and her diabetes was under control w/o medication.
So, no excuses... start TODAY!

Success Principle #1 - Take Daily Action
When studying success, there are goals and there are principles.
Goals are things like: I want to earn $100K annually; I want to have a 100 employee company; or I want to achieve Diamond Director status in 6 months.
We should all have goals, every day in every thing we do. But in order to find the best and most direct route to your desired RESULTS in life, you need to establish "success principles" for yourself.
Here is success principle #1: Be willing to work smart & hard!
Too many people are looking for the easy way to success these days. All of the people I've personally spoke to that are successful... all worked their butts off!
Here's some guidance I have at the bottom of this page:
--->
Starting TODAY:
Do the things you don't want to do during your spare time... for a couple of years.
If you do, you'll be able to do whatever you want for the rest of your life!
--->
Carpe Diem!
